Private Foundation Dreams Without Borders was founded in 2006 with the purpose of supporting the education of underprivileged children abandoned by their parents in Colombian Shelters. Their exemplary behavior and high scores in their studies are the tools to be recognized by this program.

Among its objectives, Dreams Without Borders in its five years of work, with advice from various shelters in different cities of Colombia, has invited 41children who have enjoyed the beautiful experience of visiting Miami and Walt Disney World Orlando and Walt Disney in Los Angeles. They have participated in motivational seminars, and have been received clothes and gifts.

These activities have generated positive impact on their lives, and have left them a special motivation, Most of them have taken advantage by transmitting their experience to his companions under the premise that when do things right, life would return all positive. These trips have been provided to these children, the right to believe in them and the right to faith.

With this in mind, and taking into account as well, the achievements made ​​by the Children's Shelter Mama Yolanda de Bogotá, with 52 years since its foundation, and more than 10,000 benefited children, apart from: a. - the shelter has the highest scores in protection institutions (97/100) qualifications granted by the Family Welfare Institute of Colombia ICBF, b. the shelter has developed over 5 years care programs with the Ministry of Social Integration of the Mayor of Bogota, and c. at international level, the shelter was recognized by the United Nations Vienna Civil Society, our goals for 2011 are:

Planning, coordination and fundraising for the following activities:

Scholarship Fund for the Post-Institutional Children's Shelter Mamá Yolanda in Bogotá, for children who turn 16 years in the shelter and those who have been invited by Dreams Without Borders.

April - May - Ambassadors of Good Character course, offered by Just Bee Foundation.

July-August -Vacational Intensive English Course.

July-August - Vacational Art Course.

November - Presentation of the "Ibero-American Art Auction" in Miami with the assistance of the annual invited children to DisneyWorld.

November - Annual Travel invitation to 10 children from the Albergue Infantil Mamá Yolanda to DisneyWorld.

Scholarship Fund: The program has committed to the consecution of scholarships for children who reach 16 years of age. At this time they must leave the shelters. Tha is why this is a critical moment when they need special help because they have to leave the shelter, not having either resources or family. Some of them are forced to enfilar guerrillas or any group outside the law.

For this reason, this is the main foundation of our mission, achieve railroaded the boys in the Post-Institutional program to save them personally from a tragedy in his life and on the side of Colombia to ensure that there is no more partisan.

Ambassadors of Good Character: In this year 2011 Dreams without Borders, developed a partnership with Saul Serna, founder and President of Just Bee Foundation who personally each week has been coaching directly the children those between the ages of 12 to 16 years, of "Mamá Yolanda" shelter in Bogotá, with the program "Ambassadors of Good Character" which enables them to be self-sufficient and much more.

The program "Ambassadors of Good Character" includes children's motivation and advice for the development of good character, acceptance, and packaging for ethnic diversity. This program has been implemented by Saul Serna successfully in several schools in the world. The program encourages and guides students and also parents and educators to work together with respect, compassion and appreciation to become better citizens of the world.

It is worth noting that this "Albergue Mamá Yolanda" in Bogotá, shelter is one of the oldest in the country. Is managed by a Board, the director Dilia Mora and an impressive group of social workers who has shown infinite respect, professionalism and absolute dedication to their mission.

Vacational Intensive English Course and Art Course: This courses will be provided by sponsors of Dreams Without Borders that we will publish in the near future. Both courses will take palce during the upcoming holidays of July and august/2011.

Ibero-American Art Auction in Miami, will be an art exhibition donated by Ibero-American artists and will take place with the presence of children the night before leaving for Orlando. Annual trip: In order to enhance our efforts and their good behavior, with American Airlines and the special collaboration of Sofia Vergara, we have made five trips. This will be our 6th. invitation. to which will only come those children with high grades and exemplary behavior.

This is already an incentive for the minds of the children of Mama Yolanda's Children Shelter. Additionaly this invitation gives hope and encourages the study and good behavior of 120 children living today in its five houses of the institution.
